Cluster and colors: Pumpkin Patch by Tinci Designs

Snow in October! Great, I hope it doesn't last for long. Thankfully my hubby changed the tires on the car yesterday. It wouldn't be fun driving around with summer tires in this weather. I guess there will be more snow coming since I have been freezing all day long. Although I lit the fire so it is pretty warm inside in our home. I am really not ready for snow at the moment. I have been thinking about a autumn photo shoot with the girls for a long time, but the weather conditions haven't been the best, and now this? Snow is certainly not something I wished for, not at all.

 

To show you how not prepared I am for winter, I scrapped this girly summer page. I used Tinci Designs new template pack "Cluster and colors: Pumpkin Patch" and "All a flutter" one of my alltime favourtie kits from Julie Billingsley. Although the kit is an oldie, it's still beautiful.

 

Darn it, I just deleted fifteen blogposts while I was trying to do some clean-up on my blog. It is time to go to bed when you do such stupid things.

I for sure am going to print, although I am not at all ready to print. During iDSD in May I bought one of their Print Credits and I ordered my prints in August. It was such a pleasure to receive my printed LO's. I don't think they are complete before they are printed. Persnickety Prints have the best prints, not that I have tried anyone else. I don't need to because I am so satisfied with their prints and their costumer service is exellent.

 

So what else is new this weekend? Tinci Designs released a new template pack "Rectangle Party" at her guest store at After Five Designs today. Bella Gypsy has offered a fabulous freebie "Cosy up" for a limited time and I decided to use this kit for my page. Lately I have fallen in love with Bella Gypsy's design. I love the bold and colorful style. Many of Bella Gypsy's kits have ended up on my wishlist recently. It is so fun to discover a new designer. Although Bella Gypsy is not new to me, my love for their design is new to me. Please notice that the template has been heavily altered when I created my LO.

Whispers of the heart by LDrag designs

So good to finally get a glimpse of the Sun. Maybe I get a chance to snap some photos of the girls tomorrow. I would love to have some new autumn photos. The colors are awesome. So far the autumn has been rather rainy and cold with lots of thunderstorms around here. It is nice to get a little break from all the rain and wind. Although autumn is the perfect season for scrapping, it is not my favourite season. I prefer heat over cold. One morning a couple of weeks ago it was actually ice on my windshield. In September, that is really early. It was only 2 degrees outside. Yesterday we could see snow in the mountains. The winter is not far away.

Tinci Designs released a new gorgeous pack of templates "Cluster and colors: Sweet Bee" this weekend. From the first moment I laid my eyes on the templates I knew I would probably play with all four of them in no time. I really like this template pack. The templates worked fine with Julie's old kit "Autumn Essence". The kit is in the Bargain Bite at SSD, so grab it while it's discounted. You never know when the kits are being replaced.

It is not Christmas yet, but it is not that far away. Less than tree months, and we all know how fast time flies. Krystal and Mellissa released a fabulous Christmas collab "Naturally Merry" at SSD this weekend. I can already see that it is going to be a favourtie of mine. My harddisk is filled with Christmas kits. I simply love Christmas kits, and I can't get enough of them. So happy to get a chance to play with this one.

My poor neglected blog. It is time to start blogging again. Although I slowed down on my scrapping activity during the summertime, I still scrapped. After the summer I have been scrapped regulary, but failed to update my blog. I have a lot of new pages to share but also a bunch from the previous months. I will concentrate on my October pages at first. Then gradually I will post my August and September pages until everything is posted. This is my plan and I hope to stick to it. I am a bit behind schedule but I hope to get back on track really soon. During the next months I plan to do a lot of scrapping. The autumn is the perfect season for scrapping. It is so fun and I really enjoy it.

 

Halloween is not far away, and the digiworld is flooded with Halloween stuff. Although we don't celebrate Halloween here, I love all the Halloween kits and stuff. I might buy some costumes for the girls and do a photo shoot. It would be great to actually have some Halloween photos to scrap.
