Friday is my favourite day of the week. It's the first day of the weekend, which means two whole days off work. Yeah! It sounds like I hate my job, but I don't. I really like my job, but it is good to get some time off. It's quite hectic at work. During the weekend I get to spend more time with my family. Friday is also my big scrapping evening, althought I might not scrap at all. I love it when all the digi scrapping stores release their new goodies.

If we only could have more days like this! Sun, blue sky, hot weather, strawberries, cherries and a good book to read. I am walking barefoot wearing my summer dress. Everything is just perfect! My toe nails need some new nail polish. I know I should be doing something, but I don't care. It's vacation and I am simply going to enjoy this day and relax in the sun reading my book.

Tinci's templates works so well with Krystal's kits. I created another page, and it came together really fast. It was like it was meant to be.

Krystal Hartley has been one of my favourite designers for a long time. I love her style and I buy most of her stuff. Unfortunately I rarely scrap with all the goodies that I buy. The designers I create for keep me quite busy. I wouldn't have it any other way, I love my designers. Otherwise I wouldn't scrap for them. Sometimes I wish I was a faster scrapper thou, but I am rather slow. Not much to do about that. So many pages I would love to create. This kit has been speaking to me like for ever. I am so glad that I finally got to use it, with one of Tinci's gorgeous templates. You know, I am a template girl and I wouldn't know how to scap without.

The rain is pouring down. It is such a great start of my vacation. Just what I needed! Not! It was not what I hoped for, but it is such a great opportunity to do something I love. I can scrap all day long. Try to catch up on my CT duties. I have fallen behind lately. Life has been too busy.

Jady Day Studio released her new kit "Find your joy" this weekend. Her kits are always such a pleasure to play with. Although I really dislike those "me" pages, sometimes it needs to be done. This page was actually featured in Darcy Baldwin's newsletter. It felt really good.

Alpha

The calendar shows the end of July already. How did that happen? Summer is almost over before it even started. It feels like that. I spent the first week of July in a cabin by the sea with my girls. It was good to get away from home, although the weather could have been better. We got a couple of days with sun thou, so I managed to burn my skin. Red is also a nice skin colour. It was hard to go back to work. If I had known how busy it was going to be at work, I'd rather not have gone at all. For the following two weeks I did nothing else but to work and sleep. When I say nothing, I mean nothing. It was quite stressful and I was so ready for vacation when those two weeks finally was over. I doubt that I could have worked just one more day. It feels like I need two months of vacation at least.

Lately I haven't been scrapping as much as I usually do. But I have created some pages. I need my scrapping time. It's therapy for my soul. I will show you some of my latest pages.

Oh my, the terrible twos by Jady Day Studio

So glad the Weekend is finally here. It has been such a looong week. Probably because my vacation starts today. Well, I call it a break because I only have one week of vacation now and then I need to go back to work for a couple of weeks before my main vacation starts. I really dislike to split my vacation. Those weeks are going to be much looonger...Well, I am going to enjoy this week of vacation. The girls and I are going to spend the week in a cottage by the sea. Hopefully I will take a lot of photos. The weather forecast isn't the best, but I am sure we will get a fabulous week anyway.

Yari's new kit "Oh my, the terrible twos" is such a fun and unique kit. It is totally irresistible. I really love the page I created with this kit. I know I say this a lot, but I really do. It is so sad that I didn't write down all the creative stuff my toodlers did at the time. Now I have forgotten so much of it. Oh well, it might be a good thing that I have forgotten most of it.

June is almost over and I am so ready for vacation. One more week at work before my vacation starts. It is going to be a looong week. I am so ready for vacation. So many things I want to do. Hopefully the rain will stop before my vacation starts.

Studio Mix 24: Summer Magic by Studiogirls

Can you tell that I am ready for Summer? I totally am. Three more weeks and then my vacation starts. I just couldn't wait that long, so I spent the weekend in Rome. Yes I did. In Rome it was hot! I loved every minute of it. Well, not all the waiting... Rome is such a fantastic city. I sure am going back some day for a second visit. A weekend is not enough. It was awesome to sit in the breakfast restaurant on top of the hotel roof eating breakfast while looking at the city from above. We even saw the St. Peter's Church from where we sat. It was only 10 minutes of walking from our hotel. 

Flergs and a couple of other designers from The Scrapbookgraphics released a collection called "Summer Magic" this week. It sure is magic. I totally love my page with this kit. And I sure am going to create more pages with this kit.
